El Niño
El Niño is a surface temperature fluctuation in the Pacific Ocean, causing cyclical weather changes. It appears every several years and usually lasts for a year or two.
El Niño is blamed for such things as super storms and droughts, typhoons, avalanches, landslides, bushfire, bird genocide, diarrhea, overfishing, hantavirus, and the French Revolution.
