Inauguration Day Panic
Posted December 23, 2008 by Shakti Sombrero
Well somehow we avoided the inevitable riots and societal meltdown on election day (see here, here, here for example):
Is there anyone else that is worried about riots and total destruction on election day? I am not leaving my house! I am shopping this weekend and sitting at home keeping really quiet. I think we are gonna win and think its gonna make the LA Riots look like childs play!
Exactly what I was thinking. I have been saying all along that there will be riots if Hussein looses and guaranteed riots if he wins. I grew up in the 60-70's in Chicago. I know what happens. God help us.
Like I said, SOMEHOW we survived but forget about all that...now it's time to look forward to January 20th, 2009 and beyond. What do we have to worry about this time? More riots for one, according to a Teamsarah.org member:
For people in urban/Obama areas--do this now: 1. Stock up on some basic supplies--food, health and hygiene, water, etc. 2. Keep track of where your family members are. 3. Work up meeting points in your community for your family (different spots in town where members are to go if problems occur). 4. Check and prepare any weapons you may have.
Sound advice.
Obama is a false prophet and the signs of the apocalypse are "all around us" according to another Teamsarah.org member:
...so shall 10 Kingdoms rise out of the Old Roman Empire, the bible says these kings will rule for a short season..Then the anti-christ will rise and the 10 kings will give their power over to him...Rev.17:8.
Like I said before I feel like OBama is a false prophet, he may mean well, but I don't trust him...
Noted futurist nutjob (and black belt!) Gerald Celente has outline his predictions for Obama's term in office:
The man who predicted the 1987 stock market crash and the fall of the Soviet Union is now forecasting revolution in America, food riots and tax rebellions - all within four years, while cautioning that putting food on the table will be a more pressing concern than buying Christmas gifts by 2012.
If you need any more proof about Celente's apocalyptic vision...
Well isn't this just great.
I(t) also happens to coincide with the cyclical end date of the Mayan calendar. December 21st, 2012 to be exact.
IT'S ALL COMING TOGETHER.
Celente is often touted as being somehow different than your run-of-the-mill internet psychic and continues to get repeat appearances on major news programs. But his con game boils down to the same thing as every other fraud out there: generalized predictions, fear, and sweeping the bad ones under the rug.
Who needs rational thinking when you have the comforts of defeatism? If you really want to get your dose of passive-aggressive dystopia, just call up Gerald Celente. He's on Line 2 and he'll take your money when you have no faith in humanity or when you don’t have a clue about how to do your job. Have him rant in your newspaper. Give him money to advise your corporation. Above all, don't look at history, science, or specific statistics. Because Celente will boil them all down for you with one of his seemingly pithy and mysterious predictions. And he'll be right. Because like a trusted astrology columnist or a two-bit faith healer, Celente leaves just enough room in his answer to wiggle out. And you swallow it every time. Because you're too scared to think for yourself, or do a background check on the guy in the lobby waving his arms.
Continuing on we have more predictions:
Everyone seems to be susceptible to one media scare or another, and Obama fear seems to have found a solid niche among hardcore paleoconservatives, Infowars nutjobs, and a few people who get worked up about anything and everything. Obama truly is bringing people together.
